hey fellers me agin.
i was just wondering if it would be possible to do an engin swap into a gemini using a fairly modern nissan or something efi motor?
also with the stock gemini has ne one ever wacked a yurbo in one of them? how much did it cost etc.
Also have any of you guys ever used Nos (nitros oxide) is it good powerfull etc?
how much did it cost?

Dunno about a yurbo, but there's plenty of them around with turbos on them. Around $1500 should get you out of trouble putting a turbo on.

anythings possible, just depends how much money you want to spend. can get a stock gem motor going pretty quick with a turbo, other option is a 4zc1 piazza turbo which is about the cheepest engine swap you can do. efi so its easy on the fuel and gives you a good torque curve. there good engines but the stock turbos are shit, even 10 psi is starting to get too much for them without an intercooler.
As with any engine you can put nos on it, it will run much better for short periods of time but if your engine not built to coap with it then its probably going to die in the arse fairly quickley. |
