| i want to take the mud flaps off of my tg and i just noticed that in the area behind the flap at the front courner of the door this got me thinking about taking off the bits or strips of plastic that are on the sides of the doors and i saw that it was put on by a double sided tape. so is there a safe way of taking off the side stripes witout taking off the paintwork? |

| Using a hair dryer to soften the glue used helps to prevent riping the paint off as well. After you've removed the strips use some wax and grease remover to get rid of the remaining glue. |
