i am running the power for my headunits memory from the battery with an inline fuse. i have a 3 amp fuse but am unsure if this is the right rating. help |

what you will need is a 15 amp fuse to run your stereo without any trouble, this is for stock radios and for small units 30-60 whats above that i don't know. |

If it is just for the headunit's memory than a 3 amp fuse should be more than sufficient, that would yield 36 watts which is probably double what the memory will ever draw. Sounds about perfect. |
