I'm getting ready to fit a 2lt Piazza turbo to my TC, but I need a higher pressure delivery pump. Any suggestions as to what is a good one to use?

carter or holley, with fuel pumps you get what you pay for dont go cheap here, carters and some holleys are "rekittable" and worth the dollars u spend.
for the cheap way out go for a commodore one with a quality regulator, no matter what happens where you'll be easily able to get a replacement pump if the need arises

Cheap is the go, I'm on a strict budget. What model commodore, or doesnt it matter? Is a regulator necessary?
Cheers.

ok the fuel pump u r looking for would be for an early v6 injected commodore so that would be vn-vp, its a cylindrical unit about 5 inches long and about 2 inches in diameter has a male hose fitting at each end, crimped over at one end making it an unserviceable unit, i am unsure if the isuzu motor your putting in has a regulator on the fuel rail, it should but i really am guessing on that one(it looks like a solenoid on one end of the fuel rail,it may have wires out of it or a vacuum line), if not then you might have to go looking for an appropriate regulator, injectors are just an on/off switch so the regulation of the pressure in the fuel rail is critical, as well as the whole fuel line, have you made sure the fuel line will flow enough to handle the engines demand for fuel? have you beefed up the c-clamps to take the extra pressure?

OK, vn-vp sounds good. I realised the motor does have a regulator already on it, so that should be no problem. I havent checked the flow rate on the fuel line, but I'm guessing that it should be ok cause there is a guy up here running a turboed, injected TD. He has no problems and his injection is off a Piazza (I think).
What I was going to do (if I can sort out a surge tank) was use the gemmi pump as a "lift" pump to the surge tank, then run the injector pump off that. I was just unsure of what pump to use, but not anymore. Cheers!

You should be able to pick up a surge tank for under $100, don't forget to use high pressure rubber fuel lines, don't forget two fuel filters (one low pressure, one high pressure) other than that, have fun, take photos and let us know how it turns out.
