I recently got given a gemini for my 18th (thanx mum), and two days before i got my licence some bastard ripped off my side mirror. I was wondering if anyone knows how to replace it without having to take the whole door off. I'm worried that if i take to door apart, it won't go back together. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers, ERKO OUT! |

Is it a chrome type or plastic type rear view mirror? if it is the chrome type then just screw it back on... if it is the plastic type, take your door apart, simple enough to do, two screws for the arm rest, one screw for door handle, one hidden circlip for the window winder... then carefully pop the 10 or so clips that hold the door on. |

Not too rare... unless you have the passenger side mirror too... then we are talking a fairly nice item... still more common than 4.11:1 LSD disk brake rear ends though. |
