Depends on how much compression you are after. With a shaved TD cylinder head, you can get a static compression ratio of 11.6:1 with flat tops and the standard bore of 87mm.
I think TX cylinder heads have smaller combustion chambers again, so over 12:1 should be achievable with the standard flat tops. |
