Although not registered yet I've spent the last 2 years working on my TE. I got approval from RTA to do the V6 conversion along with all other mods needed.
If anyone wants hints on BRAKES , CHASSIS , DIFF , MOTOR , COOLING or anything else to do with the Gem I'd be more than happy to help. |

What type of radiator did you use and how easy was it too fit and what was the cost??
What brakes did you upgrade to and what did they cost??
What did you do for your diff and what did it cost?? |

There was an enquirey posted by FIG in regard to V6 Conversions and brakes. My company, Automotive Gadgets, does brake conversion on Gemini's that use early model Commodore calipers and a 10.5" ventilated rotor and all the other bits and pieces for $840 or $480 if you chose to source your own calipers and rotors. You may need an engineer's certificate depending on which state the vehicle is registered. Hopefully this answers one of your questions. |
