I recently got me some interceptors that fit my TD (from a camira I think).Anywayz I think that they are not technically correct cos they are the wrong offset or something so my question is would putting them on cause any damage to my car?

Camira cop stocks won't hurt your car. They just bring the track in a little. At the front, the centre of the wheels will be a little too small for the hub, this can be fixed with a spacer (bad) or a quick grind of the wheel (better).

I used to have a set on my car, but found that they had been abused fairly badly and weren't really that round anymore. Thus, no amount of balancing was going to get them to run smooth at 90kph plus.

I sold them for $80 and bought a set of 14" BMW 3-series rims for, wait for it, $80. The BMW wheels are a bit smoother than the Camira rims and yes, as they are a RWD wheel, the offset is correct for the Gemini.

I've got a set of BMW rims on my Gemini panelvan with 205/60s all round. I've also got the original panelvan hubcaps on it - the small gray caps that all base-model TD vans and sedans came with.

I reckon it looks pretty smooth, as it's a chamois van it looks fairly original, even with the big wheels.

But in answer to your question - no, the Camira rims shouldn't hurt anything.
