i have bought a webber and adaption kit (off 2l escort)
i need some help fitting it like how do u set up the trotle
cable and will it run with the jets that r in it ???
i am going to make the origanl air cleaner fit
if any one has pics or can describe what i have to do to fit it than it would be realy helpful
i have a te gemini with elctric fule pump will it flow enought ????? thanx i will be fitting it as soon as possably so if any one could help with some info it would make it that much easyer

take off the niki carb (four nuts) then bolt on the adaptor plate then the weber, attach the fuel lines and thats about it. Shouldnt really take more than 30 mins. You will need to make up your own bracket for the accelerator cable which is pretty easy, it will run with the jets in it but chances are they wont be the optimum ones for your engine. Webers dont need anymore than 3.5psi of fuel pressure, any more can damage them so your pump should be fine.

You will also have to cut a shit load of alloy out of your manafold so it flows better...

Made a huge difference when I did mine

I've got a cortina 2L arb as well it has a water temp choke what do you do with that?

yeah i have fitted it on to my spare moter have made up a carby cable fitting and have made it if to the origanal air filter/air box and was just wondering how much is a shit load of metal from the inlet manifold thanx u have helped heaps !!!
