No doubt some of you may be aware, Alex Zanardi, reknowned CART and Formula 1 driver was involved in an horrific accident. As a result his legs have been amputated above the knees.
Just thought I would let you all know about the sad news, I am certainly saddened. Alex was one of my favourite drivers and was a great ambassador to the racing world.
I hope he makes a recovery and can find a positive direction to take after such a tragedy. |

A recovery? I wouldn't count on his legs growing back...

I belive he means that once he recovers (legless, but living none the less) he finds something to do with his life and not let his legs be a boundry.. Kinda hard to think about it now.. but When I was in the hospital leg being told I kept my leg witha 25% chance of keeping it Thoughts of no leg Were ever so Close and made me think heaps hard bout that shit..
This post is getting to long sorry Ill shutup now..
