i was wondering if any gemini experts out there would know how much trouble it is to drop a 4XE1 (dohc 1600 f/i) into a gem?? difficulties with wiring harness etc.

the 4xe1 is only single over head cam, efi and some are turbo charged, check ou the red panel van in the gallery with phat number plates |

This is the motor out of a front wheel drive gemini... not practical my friend. Perhaps you are thinking of the 4Z-1 series of motors? |

nah, there was a dohc model as well. If you have an RB gemini then it should be ok but if you want to put it into a real gemini then remember hearing something about them being a bitch, like the starter is on the wrong side or engine mounts or something, cant exactly remember. The 16v turbo ones have a bit of power but still, (134 i think) you'd probably be able to crack more power out of a 4zc1t |
