Its taken me ages but i finally got my mits on a decent digital camera and have included some (rather small) pictures of my (fully imported) ZZ/T Gemini.
As far as i know of history, a few of these were imported into melbourne in the early/mid 80's. Most of the cars and front cuts with the highly valued engines have been rallied or raced to death with great success, I was lucky to pick this one up with only 140k on the clock!
The stats i have on it are
G180W DOHC Engine
Isuzu ECGI (EFI)
5 Speed
Hardened Suspension
13 inch alloys (underneath the stock paint)
A few extras i have added are
Woodgrain wheel leather gear nob 9 Speaker stereo (yes thats including tweeters) A few amps to power them kenwood single CD deck 12 inch kenwood sub in ported box
I keep saying that i am gonna do something stupid with the engine like a turbo or a wild cam (or two ;) and up the compression etc. Not sure which path to take and am currently looking for people with some detailed knowledge on this engine. It goes quite hard and in the Traffic light GP i have gotten in front of quite a few mod cars civics, pulsars most natrually aspro fours. I know thats not the best way to measure but it gives you a general idea. And thats it, until i take it down to eastern creek for a drag with some commodores (old ones!) and get a quarter mile time that will have to do.
